Below are several great resources that I personally recommend for artists and art lovers. Check out these sites for a variety of artwork and inspiration as well as information on developing your own art practice.

ArtStation is a platform where art professionals from various fields, such as game, film, media, and entertainment showcase their work. It’s essentially a LinkedIn for artists. This is also a great site to look for inspiration from a variety of art styles and see the quality of professional artwork in the industry.

02

DeviantArt is another art platform for artists, but leaning more towards socialization and community. Here, you can see both amateur and professional work as well as fan art for many different fandoms. I used to have an account on here, where I posted fan art in a community. This is a great place to get started for beginners and non-professionals and to meet artist friends.

Clip Studio Paint is the software I use for my digital drawings. I recommend it because it is good for illustration, comics/manga, and animation. You can also create and download custom brushes and materials and find lots of useful tutorials.

Aggie.io is a free site where you can draw on the same canvas as your friends at the same time. You will be able to see their live drawing in real time while contributing your own drawing. This site is create for fun collaborations.

Krita is a digital illustration software, like Clip Studio Paint, but it is free of charge. It has many of the same tools and functions that allow you to create professional works of art. It's a good free alternative for those who can't afford Clip Studio or other paid software.

Art Fight is a site where you post drawings of your own original characters, known as OCs. Every year there is a contest where you get points by drawing other people's OCs. It is a good way to practice character design and illustration.
